Board

With experience in mining, project management, feasibility studies, and finance, Resouro’s leadership team brings the expertise and vision to transform development-stage projects into successful operations. Our team’s proven track record and deep industry knowledge ensure a strategic approach to unlocking value and delivering results at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Christopher Eager Board Chairman
Mr Eager has more than 30 years’ experience in the mining industry as an engineer, entrepreneur, and in project finance roles in Australia and South America. Following the completion of his MBA from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) in Paris, Mr Eager worked in mining project finance for NM Rothschild (Australia). He went on to become a co-founder and the CEO of Monterrico Metals PLC, which unlocked the value of the Peruvian Rio Blanco copper project and went on to be acquired in 2007 at a valuation of approximately USD 200 million. Mr Eager moved to Brazil in 2016 to develop Resouro Strategic Metals.
Philippe Martins Director and Chief Legal Counsel
Mr Martins is a lawyer certified by the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) specialising in Corporate and Mining Law. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the Brazilian mineral market, including over 10 years working in legal consultancy and litigation for national and international companies operating in Brazil. For more than seven years Mr Martins served as the Legal Director for Luna Gold Corp (currently Equinox Gold).
Justin Clyne Director
Mr Clyne is an Australian based company director and company secretary for publicly listed and unlisted companies. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 1996 before gaining admission as a barrister in 1998. Over the past 16 years, Mr Clyne has provided corporate advisory and related services for listed entities in Australia and USA. He holds a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of New South Wales, is a qualified Chartered Company Secretary and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Anne Landry Director
Ms Landry is an international finance professional with over 30 years of experience in financial structuring, investments and strategy. She has been responsible for the oversight and bankable structuring of projects in various sectors including mining, and with financial institutions and multilateral organizations worldwide. Ms Landry is a former member of the board and executive committee of the Ambatovy nickel project in Madagascar. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, a MBA from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and is a CFA charterholder.

Mangement Team

Alistair Stephens CEO
Mr Stephens has 35 years’ experience in mining and commodities marketing, particularly in the critical minerals and rare earths sectors. Across his career Mr Stephens has led metallurgical flowsheet and engineering design development, and played a key role in finalising feasibility studies for major rare earths projects. Among those are Arafura Resources’ Nolans, Globe Metals and Mining’s Kanyika and Lindian Resources’ Kangankunde. Mr Stephens holds bachelor degrees in Geology/Earth Science and Business, and MBA from Curtin University and a Diploma in Corporate Governance from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Sandra Evans CFO and Corporate Secretary
Sandra Evans, CPA, CGA has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy, mining and manufacturing industries, both in Brazil and internationally. Ms Evans has held senior accounting roles in several highly successful international exploration companies, bringing a hands-on approach to budget management and public reporting.
Rodrigo Mello Senior Consultant
Mr. Mello is a geologist with a postgraduate degree in computing and almost 40 years of experience in the mineral industry. His extensive expertise spans exploration, mineral resource evaluation, and project development. A Qualified Person (QP), Mr. Mello has contributed to 23 reports published on SEDAR for gold, copper, and silver projects. He has held leadership positions in mining companies since 1991, including Angloamerican, Anglogold and Goldcorp. As president of MPBA in Brazil, he led the construction of the Tucano gold mine, overseeing a capital expenditure of nearly US$ 200 million. Additionally, as Technical Director of Vicenza, he played a pivotal role in the discovery of the Tiros Titanium and REE project.
Luedson Manduca Senior Geologist
Mr. Manduca is a Lead Geologist with over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration specializing in project management, leading interdisciplinary teams, and driving strategic exploration programs. His expertise spans a diverse array of geological environments, including Rare Earth Elements sedimentary deposits, greenstone belts, magmatic arc, porphyry and intruded-related systems, with extensive experience in Brazil. He spent 15 years advancing through progressively senior exploration roles across several gold projects. Mr. Manduca has a bachelor's degree in geology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.
Monica Carvalho Community Relations Coordinator
Ms. Carvalho brings over 30 years of experience in relationship management, mediation, and conflict resolution, with a focus on fostering positive human relationships. She has experience in handling complex demands from decision-makers, managing dissatisfaction, and delivering excellence in customer engagement. Her career includes collaboration with various organizations and professional groups, contributing to organizational harmony and satisfaction. Ms Carvalho holds postgraduate degrees in Applied Mathematics (UNIS/MG), Psychoanalytic Theory (UNIFENAS/MG), Management and Pedagogical Training in Administration, Inspection, Guidance, and Supervision (UNIS/MG), and Psychopedagogy in Institutional and Clinical Settings with an Inclusive Perspective (UNIS/MG).
Jordana Ferreira Project Manager
Ms. Ferreira, appointed through Progesys, serves as Project Manager for the Tiros Project. Ms. Ferreira holds a solid background in Civil and Mining Engineering complemented by advanced qualifications in project and business management, environmental consultancy, and engineering production. Based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she brings extensive experience, including her recent role as Engineering Coordination and Process Manager for Serra Verde in Brazil.
